ACA Accreditation

American Camp AssociationMo-Ranch Summer Camp is extremely proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. The American Camp Association has been in existence for more than 90 years and “works to preserve, promote, and improve the camp experience.” To receive Accreditation, camps must meet up to 300 standards for health, safety and program quality. Mo-Ranch Day Camp is also inspected and licensed by the Texas Department of Health.

Camp Goals:

To offer the excitement, variety, friends, fun, learning and adventure of a sleepover summer camp with the comforts of home every night.

Camp Objectives:

To promote Christian attitudes and values through personal interactions and daily living in a camp setting.

To promote growth in group cooperation, self-confidence, and self-worth through challenging activities in a supportive environment.

To promote a sense of community involvement, belonging, and responsibility through daily living in a camp setting.

To develop environmental awareness through learning and living in the natural environment.

To provide positive adult role modeling through the participant’s interactions with Counselors.
