Adult and youth program scholarships to Mo-Ranch

It is our goal that everyone is able to enjoy and benefit from a Mo-Ranch experience. We encourage those who wish to attend a conference, but cannot afford the full cost, to let us know of your need by filling out a scholarship form.

While funds are limited, we will make every effort to help you participate in our unique and vibrant ministry. In addition to applying for funds from Mo-Ranch, you may also want to check with your home church, as many have funds budgeted to help members attend camps and conferences.

Applications must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the conference you would like to attend.

Scholarship approval process is as follows:

  1. Applications are processed at the 90, 60, and 30-day markers prior to the start of the conference you are requesting aid for.
  2. Once your request has been processed you will receive an email from the Program Department with the amount awarded and instructions with how to proceed.

Summer camp scholarships to Mo-Ranch

Partial summer camp scholarships are available for families with financial need.

Scholarships for summer camp sessions 2, 4, 5 and 6 are very limited due to the large amount of pre-registrations we have received for summer camp.

If a scholarship is not available during the session you’ve requested, Mo-Ranch’s staff will contact you about an alternate session so that we can work together in hopes to give your camper a Mo-Ranch Summer Camp experience.

Please read all information carefully and follow each step accordingly:

Step One

In order to be eligible for consideration of a summer camp scholarship, you must first complete your camper’s registration and pay the required, non-refundable deposit ($100 for summer camp or $40 for day camp).

All scholarship applications received for unregistered campers or campers with incomplete paperwork will not be considered.

Step Two

Complete the online scholarship application for camp.

Please note our scholarship application deadline: All scholarship applications must be submitted by April 15.

Applications received after April 15 will not be considered.

Step Three

The completed forms are submitted to our scholarship committee for review.

All paperwork and registration requirements must be completed by the time of committee review, including the Parent Portal forms and documents through CampMinder, a paid deposit and completed scholarship application.

All scholarship applications received for unregistered campers or campers with incomplete paperwork will not be considered.

Step Four

Decisions about scholarship awards will be made by the scholarship committee on a monthly basis beginning Jan. 1.

Confirmation letters regarding the scholarship award will be emailed out after the committee has reviewed your application. If you are awarded a partial scholarship, the remaining balance of camp fees will be due 30 days prior to camp attendance. If the amount awarded is less than you requested and you are unable to pay the balance, your camper’s deposit will be refunded.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

May I receive more than one scholarship per year?
No. Applicants may receive only one scholarship per year. Normally for no more than 3 consecutive years.
Is there a deadline for applying for a scholarship?
Yes.

For conferences: Applicants must have their application submitted no later than 30 days prior to the conference they wish to attend. Applications received after 30 days prior will not be considered.

For camp: Applicants must have their application submitted by April 15. Applications received after April 15 will not be considered.

What if I receive a scholarship, is there anything else I should do?
Send us a note of thanks for the scholarship. Tell us about your experience. We love mail!
If I receive a scholarship, how will I know?
If you, or the person who is applying for you, has included an email address, we will notify via email. Otherwise, we will mail or call to let you know how much has been awarded and applied to your registration account.
What if I have to cancel my registration but have received a scholarship—is that scholarship transferable to another camp or conference?
Normally, no, scholarships are not transferable.
