Papermaking Workshop Leader

Maria GouldMaria is the new Program Director for the Arts at Mo-Ranch. Maria has worked in clay as her primary medium for over 40 years as an artist; and as an Art Educator has taught at all levels from Elementary School through University.

Before coming to Mo-Ranch, Maria sewed canvas work for boats and oil spill booms, raised twins, and most recently taught in Magnolia ISD for 12 years. At the same time, Maria indulged in her love of learning new techniques and mediums, which she then turns around and teaches to others. One of her favorite mediums is paper. Maria loves to make paper, alter paper and make paper into a variety of objects and works of art. In this workshop you will be creating papers which may be bound into the pages of your books!

We look forward to creating with you!
