Living your best life after divorce—self-care strategies for savvy single moms

Remember that saying “if mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.” It’s totally true. Kids will follow your lead after divorce. So, if you want happy, healthy kids, making time for a happy, healthy you, is critical. Join Christina for an interactive session where she will reveal real-life self-care strategies for savvy single moms.

What most divorced parents don’t know—issues kids deal with behind the scenes without ever saying a word

Moms will get an exclusive preview of SPLIT, a powerful documentary featuring 12 amazing kids. Sharing their heart-felt stories, this film offers a candid look at how divorce has impacted their lives. Insightful, touching, and sometimes even funny, SPLIT pulls back the curtain on how children really feel when parents part. Following the screening, Christina will share insights on how parents can stay mindful of their children needs and make thoughtful choices about how life moves forward.

Confident co-parenting—surefire strategies for taking the hassle & headache out of parenting apart

Let’s face it, even under the best of circumstances, parenting is challenging. Add parenting out of two homes to the mix and life can easily shift from calm to chaotic in a matter of seconds. If you have ever struggled with coordinating schedules, discipline differences, dealing with back and forth stress or badmouthing, this is the session for you. Listen in as Christina shares her top tips for developing an effective parenting relationship that puts kids at the center, not in the middle.

What will the kids do?

Programs, activities and care will be provided for children and youth of all ages during workshop times so that moms can focus on times of enrichment and empowerment. Activities will include critter classes, owl watching, hiking, ropes course, hay rides, campfires, star gazing, outdoor sports, canoeing and more!

The schedule will also offer space for free time and play so that families can spend quality time together, enjoying the recreational activities that Mo-Ranch offers. Click the schedule tab to learn more about the weekend’s activities.

Portions of the cost of this retreat are generously underwritten by a grant from St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Houston, TX.
