Small Group Leader
Interested in being a small group leader?
Small groups are integral to Youth Celebration, Jr. High Jubilee and Multi-Cultural Youth Conference. Time and again, young people tell us they love their small groups where they find a welcoming community and a place where they can share the journey of faith.
Mo-Ranch needs small group leaders mature in their faith who are willing to listen to youth and help guide them along as they explore the theme of the conference through activities, Bible study, prayer, sharing, laughter and many other ways.
Small group leaders’ responsibilities include leading a group of approximately 15 youth and adults during the conference. They are reimbursed for travel expenses (in accordance with the conference center’s travel policy) and receive on-site lodging and meals.
Small group leaders must be 21 years of age or older by the time their conference begins.
We are committed to selecting a wide range of persons who are active members of the Presbyterian Church (USA); who have experience in church leadership roles and are actively working with young people in their church, who represent diverse geographical distribution and racial/ethnic diversity.
Small group leaders are welcome to serve 2 conferences per summer. We prefer small group leaders not be serving simultaneously as sponsors for their back home group.
